In its present form the splendid Cominelli palace is shown in the seventeenth century form and with the large courtyard that greets visitors that have just passed through the door and with the garden overlooking the Bay of Salò, and the mountains that provide a backdrop. On the ground floor the eighteenth century decoration is still visible in the entrance area, depicting allegories of the liberal arts interspersed with elegant naturalistic motifs and soft ribbons. The first and second floors feature rooms adapted for exhibition. The noteworthy terrace overlooks the garden facing the boundless landscape of the Garda Bresciano.
